Selling business data to AI buyers: what an owner agrees to
Updated
A company selling its records keeps control of what goes out. The data partners that buy business records each say how they scope the data, strip out names and pay once it is accepted.
You choose what is shared
Nyne says you decide exactly what is shared and that every package stays within the scope you approve. Mercor says no data leaves your systems until you approve it.
Names and identities come out first
micro1 commits not to resell or distribute a company's data until personal and identifying information has been anonymized. Troveo says names, contact details, credentials and client identities are scrubbed under one documented standard, and that the company is never named publicly.
When the money arrives
micro1 pays in full within 30 days of acceptance, Nyne pays once the dataset is delivered and accepted as the partnership agreement sets out, and Mercor says a company is paid as soon as processing is complete.
What the payment is worth
The ranges these buyers publish are on how much data sells for.
